Well, that is personal.

[a pause. SHE SEEMS TO BE THINKING.]

I don't think I ever had a chance to actually pick music to enjoy. Somethin' jazzy, I guess, but with the right person, the moment itself is enough to not need a soundtrack.

Oh, yes.

[A winning smile.]

Mmm, you would get along with Jack, perhaps. In fact, I think I wish to be there when you...get along.

...get along?

[SHE KNOWS WHAT YOU MEAN BUT SHE'S BEING COY, or something.]

If it's the Jack I'm thinkin' of, I chatted with him briefly. He certainly seems like a fella I'd get along with, bein' from around my time 'n all.

Ah, so to speak.

[He can be coy, too! He just...usually isn't.]

Yes, I think I recall--

Your time?

Of course.

[she flashes him one of those ~smiles~]

Y'know, the decade I'm from.

So you are also from the future? I think I would like it there.

The future?

[she laughs]

Funny, after hearing it bein' referred to as the past for so long, it's kind of refreshing to hear that. When are you from, honey?

[Strange. He thought Jack was from the future, even by this time's standards. Maybe he'll bring it up later.]

Ah...9:31 Dragon? You do not use that system here, though.

[A light shrug.]

Every hundred years an age, every age named something different. I live--or lived, I suppose, before I came here--in the Dragon Age. It is an exciting time.

It certainly sounds thrilling. Don't tell me there actually were dragons.

But there were, my dear. I helped fight several of them.

No, no. But not all of them were very large dragons. Only two. Most of the rest were rather small, some the size of a dog, others the size of a small horse.

That's still quite an incredible feat. I don't even think dragons existed where I come from, no matter how far back in the past you go.

Oh, you aren't missing much, my dear. They are destructive beasts and not even particularly entertaining.

[A shrug.]

Although drakeskin leather is marvelous.
