Alright, alright, I got one of those question thingamabobs:

What exactly makes a person dress up in a costume, call themselves something silly, and try and take on the world? Especially if you don't got powers, especially if you can just fall in with the rest of us folks.

I mean, I know why I did it, but I figure that was a special circumstance.

Not in this universe.

And 'cause Uncle Sam told me to. I wouldn't've come up with it on my own, but orders're orders.

Your government told you to wear a cape?

And here I thought muggle society was completely boring.

I didn't wear a cape. I wasn't looking to trip over myself, thank you very much.

And sure they did. They were figuring it'd give everyone else something to believe in.

And it's people who are boring, not things.

It's usually something about being young, idealistic, and ready to change the world, isn't it?

I guess it largely depends. I mean, for me, it was some of that, and a lot of emulation. But I don't any two people would give the exact same answer.

Probably not.

The emulation thing, I can understand.

My special reasons wouldn't be considered noble.

Saw another guy do it, thought it looked fun.

Then I made money off it.

Depends on the job. 50 grand a pop for a while early on if you're reliable. More when you get a full-on rep established.

Well, I started as a wrestler, actually. The costume and name were part of my schtick, and they schtuck.
