fifteen :: [voice; fail-locked from Angelica Jones-Maximoff]

[There's some silence before Pietro actually begins speaking. When he does, it's not the usual clipped, sparse tone. Instead he seems unsure and well, slightly embarrassed.]

... Is there a reason a woman would require multiple pregnancy tests? I've tried googleing, but the answers were largely unsatisfactory.

Usually it means she thinks she's pregnant.

Ah...

[Well, that suspicion is confirmed at least.]

Yep. That answers that.

Not really. There's still the question of why she'd hide them from me.

I tend to agree.

Maybe talk to your wife about it?

That's my intention. I merely wanted to know if there might be some other reason for it.

Well, it is the type of thing you'd want to be certain about.

But is it something that usually... Fouls up so frequently?

I think that doubt is usually just psychological, no matter which way it goes.

Hm. I admit, women's feelings on these issues so frequently confuse me. We did talk about wanting a large family, however. I hope she wasn't concerned for my reaction.

Gee, I wonder.

Your tone is rather unappreciated right now. I have no doubt the days ahead will be quite stressful to me and my family.

[a laugh]

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeah, your "family" life's pretty much over.

Either it means whoever it is is knocked up, or wants to be. Badly.

I'm personally hoping for the former. Though I'll thank you to have a care when speaking for my wife and hypothetical child.
