Er...well, neither of those individuals are present in this reality, but as others have mentioned we do house an Xavier Institute. I was actually acquainted with both men in my home reality.

[He glances down at himself, a little embarrassed over this human form.]

Oh, well, pardon the appearance. Merely a temporary setback, I assure you. I'm Dr. McCoy.

[Raven just sort of stares at the phone after Hank appears, her eyes a little wide. It sounds like Hank, and even looks like him...But he's...older.]

[Confused pause.]

I have a guess, at best. [But she seems so young! And the idea that she knew him was, well, more than a little confusing. Might as well give it a shot.] Would your surname happen to be Darkholme?

[She frowns.]

No. My last name is Xavier. Has been since I was ten.

[Xavier? Did Charles have a sister? Adopted, perhaps? Not that he knew of, but if there was one thing Charles seemed to enjoy, it was keeping secrets.]

What was it before that?

I don't know. Before I met Charles I was a runaway. Ever since I was very little.

[She smiles faintly, nervously. For someone who looked and sounded just like Hank, he was asking questions he should have known the answers to.]

...I see. Well, I at least know who you are now, though you're certainly less...blue than I am familiar with. Given our conflicting information, I'll have to suspect there's more going on than you seem to realize.

Oh, how best to explain this... You see, the machine that brought us here, it pulls individuals from a multitude of various universes, and a few of them can be deceptively similar.

So while we each come from a universe which contains a Henry McCoy and a Raven Dar--a Mystique, I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you by bearing the information that they aren't the same universe.

[Raven is quiet for a long time after that explanation, sorting through it. She's gotten used to Hank going on about things she can't possibly understand but generally they weren't long-winded explanations about why he didn't know her. Or why he did known her but didn't know her. Her eyes closed for a moment as she sucked in a breath, shuffling the bits and pieces she understood around. Finally she looked back at the screen.]
