[The video feed clicks on, which is fairly unusual for Yoite, considering how he normally prefers to just use voice. He's obviously on the move though, because the camera isn't really focused on him-- In fact it seems to be accidental, as Yoite himself seems to be a bit away from his communicator, fighting off rats and pigeons

Besides, there's no guarantee that they'd like killing them any more than I am.

They're beasts. Their lives aren't important.

Voice;

Maybe not important.

... But I prefer their company over the company of other people.

Voice;

They're quieter, and only really expect to be fed.

...And leave once the feeding time is over.

That isn't company.

Voice;

... Maybe... [He considers it company though.]

... What do you consider company?

Well. I'm not opposed to the company of my moirail or Aradia, or anyone of a higher caste than I. Or my robots. They're silent and take punches well.

Voice;

Quiet...

... That's why I prefer the pigeons.

They aren't in any way stimulating.

Voice;

[He's still going to prefer them over people though. He just doesn't want to argue. He falls quiet then, waiting to see if Equius has anything more to say.

And while he waits, several dying squeaks from rats can be heard, and the sounds of them splattering all over the floors and walls.]

I suppose I don't understand the desire.

... You wouldn't be the only one.

[He's certainly gotten his share of incredulous looks from people who don't understand why anyone so young would sit around and feed the birds.]
