Well, that's a long, detailed, convoluted, boring explanation. But if you want the short version, it's something like this.

There are a bunch of awesome dead guys - and women, I'm equal opportunity - who hang around me and tell me stuff. Sometimes I get visions. And I'm not talking little 'the phone's about to ring' visions, no way. I'm talking full-out 'possessed by the spirits of the restless dead, bringing justice to their murderer' type visions, sometimes with a backing orchestra and what is up with your hair?
