[The video starts up to show Stephen standing in what appears to be a very sparsely decorated living room. If anyone's familiar with New York architecture, it appears to be in an older brownstone. The high ceilings, cracked sheet rock, and slightly skewed crown moldings are a pretty dead give away. The place looks more or less clean, but there's ( Read more... )

Magic? Uh...you offer lessons or training or whatever?

I make a poor teacher, I'm afraid.

However, yes. I will look at an object for you, if you'd like.

Huh. Know any good ones? I would hate to be doing this magic thing completely wrong and accidentally summon something big, angry, and tentacley.

Awesome. Thanks! When's a good time for me to stop by?

I believe Zatanna teaches at the Xavier Institute. She might be willing to offer more private tutoring.

Whenever is convenient for you. I haven't plans for the afternoon.

No clue who Zatanna is...wait [A short pause.] Xavier like the mutant place? That came here too? Man, this alternate reality stuff is weird!

Great. I'll stop by this afternoon then.

I believe it was reestablished here. The estate in Westchester wasn't able to be summoned from the multiverse, however, I find the location on 33rd Street far more convenient.

Oh. Well that's much less cool.
I should visit there some place too. Always wanted to go see it back home but ya know, not a mutant. [He laughs a bit.]

I'm not sure they'd have forbidden a visit because of one missing gene.

Really? [He seems surprised.] Huh. Figured they would have been all 'no non-mutants allowed' after the day when all those mutants just lost their powers or died.

To my understanding, the Institute has never been about segregating mutants from non-mutants.

Huh. I never knew.

I can't tell if that's meant to be sarcasm.

Huh? Oh, no it wasn't supposed to be. Sorry.
I didn't ever know much about the X-Men. Just what was on the news and the internet. And that they showed up to stop the Abomination after I...didn't do a very good job stopping him.

The Abomination. Well, that certainly is a foreboding name.

Yeah.
I thought he was the Hulk but Spider-Man insisted he wasn't.

That would be an awfully tragic designation to give the Hulk.
