[the video flicks on to show a wonderful view of the thames river. boats are sailing back and forth beneath the bridge, and big ben stands tall and proud in the background. a few people amble across the bridge, none of them looking at each other. the sailors, too, go about their work without making eye contact. it seems eerily detached. and, of course, everyone is dressed in the victorian style.

a happy, girlish giggle comes from behind the comm, and the image shakes for a moment. it steadies once again, and gemma speaks. her voice is dreamy and happy. almost nothing like her normal voice.]

It's so beautiful, isn't it?

[the comm is dropped to the ground, and rolls around in the grass for a few seconds before settling. the last shot is of a crowd of people walking along a cobbled lane; a young woman with red hair wearing a blue cloak is the only one walking away from where the comm fell. in a few moments she disappears into the crowd, and the recording cuts.]

[ooc; obviously, gemma will not be responding to comments here--but feel free to use this post as a place for discussion among characters! as i mentioned yesterday, i'll be posting an open log with gemma later today, and anyone will be welcome to jump in.]
