Lilies in particular tend to bloom around mid-May, I believe?
Many florists force them earlier for Easter, but they're normally later if left to their own devices.

It depends on the flower I think. They don't usually follow the calendars much. Most of them will probably bloom in the middle of spring - I think...

I think that does have something to do with it. Eiko used to say that they would come out when they were ready, and not before.

Lillies are very pretty - I like the ones that can float in the water the best.
