I'm curious as to how accurate or how off the mark the Porter is when she greets everyone with "Welcome to the City, hero". Obviously, there's been a few errors, but I'm curious. Personal interest.

What do you personally do to help people? If you're not doing something to help people, what do you do instead?

I help when I get paid for it.

Honesty. I like that. When someone pays you, what kind of help do you provide?

Depends on how much I'm getting paid.

Fair enough. Does the cause affect your price?

Of course. The more important people think it is the more they're willing to pay.

What about the other side of it? Have you ever accepted less pay than you normally might if you thought the cause was worth the pay cut?

Ha.

No.

Ever charge someone higher because you thought their cause was rubbish?

Definitely.

So if I were to hire you, it would be in my best interest to make certain my cause wasn't a load of bollocks.

Luckily I'm pretty open minded

I'm here to do the job, not judge

And if I had a project in mind, what sorts of skills would I potentially be paying for?

Mainly? Combat instruction. I know just about everything there is to know about hurting people.

There's other ways of applying that too, but it's even pricier.

And what might your rate for combat instruction be? I'm not hopeless in that regard, but I'm not anywhere as good as I'd like to be.

$950 a month. Got to keep it cheap since I'm just starting out.
