Okay, so, um. I need help. I'm supposed to write an essay about Romeo and Juliet, and how fate and pre-destination brought them together and then caused their deaths and like... I'm just totally not feeling it. Love at first sight and star-crossed lovers and all of that, it's just so unrealistic. I mean, how can I write an essay about something so stupid? Seriously.
Personally, I think Juliet was completely nuts. I mean, who the heck wants to settle down with some jerk who was totally gaga over some other chick like ten minutes before. Can you say flighty? Not that there's anything wrong with playing the field, but come on!
Anyway, I was just thinking, maybe some of you could give me a pep talk and like, inspire me and stuff? Is true love a real thing? What about soul mates and all of that? Do you think you're destined to be with one person for the rest of your life? And if so... would you kill yourself to be with them?
... Wow that sounded kinda morbid. Oh well.
