[There is a Pietro knocking at Calvin's door almost as soon as he hears this.]

C-come in.

[Calvin is in bed, covers pulled up to his chin. His face is red, and he doesn't look at Pietro.]

[Pietro moves in and takes a seat at the edge of Calvin's bed. It's pretty obvious he's been crying is still a little watery.]

I'm sorry.

[Calvin sniffs, then looks at Pietro]

Why is this happening? I just met her.

[Calvin wriggles slightly, moving a bit closer to the side of the bed Pietro is sitting on]

She never did anything wrong. She was nice, really nice. How can she just be gone?

[That's a good sign, right? Luna cuddled whether she was happy or sad, so it's a little hard to tell.]

Because, as clichéd as the saying is, life isn't always fair. In fact, sometimes it seems damned determined to keep us unhappy.

Why does anyone hurt anyone else? Often there isn't a clear reason for it.

[A heavy sigh. Pietro really doesn't know how to handle this.]

It's alright to be sad. It's even alright to cry. God knows I'll probably do more of that at inappropriate and regrettable times. But I know that Angelica would want us to be strong. She'd want us to go on with our lives and at least try to be happy, even though we know it won't be the same without her.

[Calvin wipes his eyes]

Y-yeah. I guess she would. She's always- she was always saying stuff like that.

She was much more brave than I am. Truly.

[He just sort of looks away. There's not much else to be said, so maybe just sitting will be okay for a while.]

[Calvin also looks away because he can't think of anything more to say too. They've talked about it and he feels a tiny bit better but she's still dead and he doesn't know what's supposed to come next. But just sitting with him sounds good. Maybe just sitting will be enough, for now.]
