It...may come as a surprise to those that know me but...I'm...rather fond of trying new things when it comes to the edible. Food, I mean. I'm...rather adventurous when it comes to food. Spicy foods are my favorite, actually.

I'm rather...curious? To see what you all deem too strange to eat. The cultural barriers between peoples and what they' ( Read more... )

I'd never've put you down as a spicy food fan.

[thoughtful pause]

Suppose the most barmy thing I've ever eaten back 'ome - on Earth, mind - would be these wasabi flavoured Pringles. Blimey, they were hot.

Wasabi flavored Pringles? That sounds...pretty good, actually. If a bit indulgent.

Wasabi peas are my favorite snack food. You....haven't noticed the enormous bowl I keep of them on my desk?

I absolutely love Pringles, me. Packet of them, a cup of tea and a soap on telly is what I'd call a decent night in.

Wasabi... peas? That's what they were on your desk? T'be honest, I thought they were some type of weird potpourri thing.

Wasabi peas, tea and a book would probably be my ideal night in. Happens frequently, actually.

And yes, that's what they were.

[She giggles a little]

You didn't catch me snacking on them at all?

I did, yeah.

It's just, travellin' through space an' time an' all, you can come across people with weird 'abits. So I just figured that snackin' on potpourri type things, it was some weird custom thing from where you're from.

I'm from Washington, D.C., USA, Earth, and it was 2009 before I got here. Snacking on potpourri would be...an extremely strange habit. I'm willing to eat a lot of interesting things but...not inedible ones. I don't have pica!

[She's laughing a bit because she thinks it's funny. She's also still on a happy high from murder. Silly Bennett.]

[there's a little laugh on her end as well and you can almost hear the facepalming]

Oh, my God, I must sound like a complete dumbo!

[She giggles a little more, isn't she just adorable? For a murderous psychopath, anyway.]

No, no. Not a dumbo. Not really. I understand, I mean, I'm sure wasabi peas don't...really look entirely edible. They don't really look like peas, anyway.

Well, despite the fact, they look like bloomin' potpourri type things, you've kinda got me wonderin' what on earth they taste like.

So, next time I'm 'round your place, I'm nickin' a few from the bowl, alright?

They have a very unique taste. Don't really taste like peas. They're very hot.

But feel free! They're always there. Always have plenty of them to share.
