Big news, everybody! The results are in! It was a really tight race between lots of strong candidates, but the swing vote of the six-year-old demographic proved crucial in deciding the outcome. It looks like I’m going to be staying with Miss Angelica and, um, that one really fast guy she lives with. Hold on, I’ll show you.
[Calvin darts out of the picture for a moment, then comes back pushing an easel into view. He then grabs a pointer stick and starts describing the chart mounted on the easel, drawn in marker and crayon.]
See, I’ve still been having a good time at school, which is why that line’s gone up a bit. This one magic guy who offered was a wizard so I assumed that his line would be pretty good. Jordan’s line is really strong because she makes really cool stuff, but it’s kinda squiggly because I'm not sure whether any of her inventions would try to kill me.
I also thought about staying at Mister Lupin’s big huge house, but recent events have led me to believe that it would be really good at first, and then get a lot better, but then suddenly everything would go wrong and I’d have to face the prospect of slow, icy death. [Calvin traces the rise and fall of the light blue dotted curve with the pointer] Look, the death part’s represented by this big drop here. That’s why I used light blue, too, ‘cause it reminds me of ice.
So that leaves Miss Angelica! Her line sort of overlaps with Harvey’s because I’m hoping that I can be as happy with them as I was with him and Billy.

Also towards the end I kinda got bored, so that’s why there’s a dinosaur doodle up in the corner. In case anybody’s wondering. [Calvin circles it with the pointer]
Anyway, I just want to thank everybody here at the Xavier’s Institute for putting me up and taking care of me and stuff. You’ve all been really great to me, and I promise to come back and visit! I mean, I don’t have any choice since I go to school here, but you get the idea.

Oh, and I’m gonna need some help packing. Who wants to give me a hand? [Note: by ‘give me a hand’ he means ‘do it for me.’]
