... Last thing I remember was Yusuke standing over me holding out his spirit gun, looking shocked and horrified.

He was brainwashed into assassinating you, he wasn't in control. The Nazis were responsible. He's been cured and found innocent, and we think the technology that was used is no longer a threat.

Yusuke was incredibly broken up over it, Elisa.

... God, that poor kid. Has he been doing all right? He still with the force? He hasn't gone and done anything dumb because of that, has he?

How are the cops doing? Any huge changes? Who's still here?

He's still with us. He still wants to nail whatever culprits are still at large, but he hasn't done anything stupid about it yet.

The biggest thing that's happened is that the Joker's active again. He came back from the dead weeks before he made himself known, he was posing as a man named Oberon Sexton. When he made his move, he kidnapped, tortured and killed about nine people. Laurie was one of the dead. So was Misty Knight, she joined us while you were- gone. They've both come back, but it was still really bad, Elisa. We still haven't caught the bastard yet, although some of his people have turned up dead.

Yeah, actually. There was a mayoral election while you were gone. Mitchell Hundred is in charge of the City now. One of the native candidates, Geraldo Bendis, was killed in an explosion along with over sixty people. Half the City was put to sleep over a weekend as part of some kind of psychological attack, there were a lot of crimes of opportunity during that. The mob tried to kidnap the Red Queen recently, but she's safe now. Abby and twelve other people were kidnapped and later released by Harvey Dent. He's back, Elisa, but it's a different version of him. This one's insane. Abby's been off-duty for a while.

The City's still holding together, Elisa, but it's been rough.
