[Sam's amusement gets the better of him, and now he's accidentally poked the button for video. He hasn't realized it yet, and goes on pawing at the buttons for a text message. The communicator's lying on the floor, so what can be seen is a ceiling, a paw moving in and out of frame, and the face of a dog with a look of amused concentration on it.]

[Sam's ears twitch forward in a look of surprise when the message comes in, and he finally notices the video icon on his screen. He reaches up to turn it back off, but after a few failed swipes of the paw, resigns himself to the fact that Lassiter's already seen him anyway.]

[He was joking, but now he's actually thinking about it. After a moment, he shakes his head. He's still hoping he'll be turned back any time now, so he's not that desperate to get back to work. He heaves a sigh and types again.]

[Sam would chuckle at that if chuckling was a sound dogs could produce. As it is, his tail wags involuntarily and he gives something of a yip.]
