[He'll find out sooner or later. And, yeah, no. Trowa already has a doofy-looking mane with a unibang. He'll take that over being completely furless and droopy-faced.]
Don't worry. Not on my list.
[Horrendously tentative but still impulsive-in-nature question is what it is, if only after a good long silence.]
[...Well, he meant the human version of it, but hair is hair. After another small silence, during which he wonders exactly how stupid of a thing to be curious about it is, and whether or not this is the brain's way of dealing with a stressful morning/week--although not as much of one as it would be to the ones directly involved in the main issue over Terry or turing into animals they don't usually become, to be sure--he agrees.]
[Goes to get an apple from the fridge, after which he shuts the door and leans back against the appliance, one arm folded over his chest as he thinks and eats.]
[When he finishes, he tosses the core out, washes his hands, and goes to shut off his communicator. After leaving a treat out for Leo, Trowa leaves, locks up, and walks down the hall to see if Hiruma's home.]
"JUST A SEC!" he calls out from inside. Some scrambling noises and barking from Lucy and he opens the door.
And low and behold, his hair is black. Jet black, silky, shiny and a bit fluffy, but otherwise unstyled. It's, well... typical Asian hair, to be frank. While everything else about him is completely atypical, his natural hair color is surprisingly dull. He runs his fingers through it.]
[He suppresses the shock very well, only raising one eyebrow at the complete departure from what he's used to seeing; he's almost tempted to accuse Hiruma of wearing a wig. But, no.]
Depends on your point of view, I suppose.
[...Sorry for staring. It's different; changes are fascinating. It's a thing.]
[Pulled from his thoughts by the nickname, almost starting to frown, but deciding it isn't worth the bother to be annoyed. Folds his arms and hums instead.]
[he huffs a bit and stands on the inside of the doorway] Come in, then! I ain't puttin' on a show for the whole hall.
[Once his friend is inside, he closes the door behind him. He shifts easily with a few cracking noises. "Starting" to grow in isn't really the best way to say it; it's already grown in completely. His fur is almost all one color, instead of having the light striping as in his blond morph. His dorsal side is dark, silky black and his underside is slightly fluffier charcoal gray. The fur itself has a double layer now and is especially long on his head and around his neck; a built in scarf. He snorts and shakes his head; those bright green eyes are almost luminescent against the black fur and dark skin]
I wonder why just black.
[And even more of it.]
...What does a bat look like with no fur?
Reply
[a curious little "hmmm" noise]
Probably pretty sad! We're pretty fluffy little guys, except for the wings!
Reply
I wasn't aware of that. Why dye it?
[Contemplates the idea of a hairless batmonster.]
Perhaps not. Humans tend to be frightened of things in bare skin.
Reply
Because it'd be so ugly! You could probably see all the muscles and bones right under the skin... yuck, man. What about a shaved lion? Pretty sad too!
Reply
Is it still black?
[About to continue speaking, meaning to agree with the commentary about looking weird--Sphinx cats do, after all--when a horrible notion strikes him.]
I am not testing that.
Reply
For now, yeah. I dunno, blond always struck me as a more summery look, kekeke! Maybe I'll keep it black.
[he cackles, but it's somewhat uneasy. He doesn't like those mental images too much!]
Good, let's make a pact not to do that. Besides, my winter coat is gonna be growing in soon. It'd be nearly impossible to clip anyway!

...May I see?

Good. We can agree that it never happened then.
[a pause] The winter coat? It's nothing special. But if you want?
Reply
Mm... sure?
If you're not busy.

[Knock, knock, if he is.]

Not too impressive huh?

It is what it is. Now... [he leans on the door frame and examines his nails a bit] Is that all you wanted, or do you wanna come in, fucking lion king?

You do owe me the winter coat.
