What's a good way to thank your friends for doing something special for you? Even though it... wasn't really a big deal, it just meant a lot, but... anyway.

[ PRIVATE TO MATT ]

While I appreciate what you did, I stlll have a bone to pick with you, Murdock.

[ There's a long pause before he speaks up again, sounding a little too casual. ] I don't know. It seems a little impersonal.

Hardly. Although I suppose there are always flowers instead.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think either of my friends are big on flowers.

So go with the cards. What's wrong with a little hand-written message?

I suppose something hand-written would better than some card from a store... uh, sir.

I've heard of you. None of it complimentary.

You can't always trust what you hear, young man.

Fair enough, but my source was quite reliable.

I doubt that.

You doubt your own family? Intriguing.

I did some legal work for your grandson.

Except my grandson is a child.

Surely I don't have to explain the concepts of alternate realities and future timelines to you, Mr. Osborn?

I assure you, in my world, your grandson is an adult. Married, even. Running Oscorp.
