Mission 2. Teacher ISO class [video]
Hi. This is the, ah, second time I've transmitted using this, so please bear with me. I think I'm a little more together than the first time I did it anyway.
My name's Jaime Sommers. I still don't quite believe I'm here, but if I'm not, I'm having a heck of a hallucination so I may as well run with it and see what happens.
Anyway, I know we're all expected to help the police and be "heroes" or something but... ah, well, as I'd discussed with a young man a few days ago, it's always important to find balance in our lives. It can't just all be about falling through alternate dimensions and saving the world, or we burn out in the process and then we just end up not helping anybody at all.
So... What I do to find that balance is... well, I teach. I taught middle school classes at an air force base back home. I really love working with kids, and I'd really love to be able to do that here if at all possible.
Problem is, is my resume and curriculum training is 30 years out of date and I don't know who's going to want to hire... whatdotheycallus... "imPorts." So if any of you have any ideas or leads, I'd really appreciate it.
