Okay, so I get the Fourth of July as a holiday. I get that it's about patriotism, and celebrating independence and pride in your homeland, and all that cool stuff. Also barbecues and fireworks. Gotta love that.
But would any history buffs out there mind explaining to me why American humans like to do all this stuff on this day specifically? What's so special about the Fourth of July?
