"Hey, those colours are totally rockin', you know." It's Tim's voice, but with a stronger affectation of the Gotham accent. And it's Tim walking around the end of the bus (it's a bus, Kon) and leaning against the corner, but he's wearing shades, a grey beanie cap and a dark red bomber jacket with a yellow stripe.
Since there are non-Titans on the trip, Tim has decided to go as Alvin Draper.
"Groovy, Al." Kon half-replies, half-corrects. "And I only have to call it a bus when I'm making a joke."
He can't decide which part of the getup to mock. He thinks the bomber jacket might be the worst. There's a Michael-Jackson-in-Thriller vibe to it. "You know you're only making everything more complicated. And you're so not driving."
"Groovy, right. And you can call it a car all you want, but a bus by any other name is still a bus." Tim shrugs, and blithely mangles a Shakespeare quote.
At least there are no sequins or oversized gold necklaces in sight. "It ain't that complicated, you'll cope. Now, who crashed who's car recently, may I ask?"
"I didn't mean the v- bus, and that was an accident. I meant the whole, oh-this-is-my-friend-from-school-who's-totally-cool-with-the-green-dog-cum-green-human-sticking-his-head-out-the-window thing that you're adding to the whole trip."
