27th Insane Speech // Video and Text

May 23, 2010 10:56

[The video starts with a view of everyone’s favorite warmongering lunatic standing in the prison library in his baggy orange jumpsuit, next to a table with a large map and several papers on it. He’s grinning, and gives a theatrical bow before switching to text. The Major’s blathering is also available in a text-to-speech if necessary.]

How kind of you to say... Safeguard, ja? I am so pleased that you and Schrodinger have been getting on so well, by the way!

But you is so good at him. <3 spacetimeguard May 23 2010, 15:55:37 UTC
[Nods.] Thank you. He's fun to be around, and a good spar as well.

In times like these, we do require all the help that is available, regardless. And if my theory is correct...

The Battalion's area of responsibility shall extend around our headquarters, which has not been displayed on the map for obvious reasons. You, however, are too valuable an asset to confine to such a small space! In the event of invasion, you are to range across the battlefront conducting scouting, sabotage, and carrying messages.

So I am to do what I do best. [He grins] I had hope that you would tell me as much! Then I am to leave the Captain in charge of defending my territory? That would be for the best, even though he should stay with me, since he still does not know the layout of the city... However, I refuse to leave my area in the hands of anyone less.

The Captain will of course assume responsibility for the command of field operations during such a battle, yes. You don't think I would give the responsibility to Herr Valentine, do you?

At any rate, I hope to have departed from this place by the time combat commences, and be able to lead in person.

[Bond's a man of war. Been in the Forces his whole life and now the MI6. He knows a thing or two about this sort of thing, so he's allowing Major a small eyebrow arch as he observes.]

I'm impressed. I suppose I shouldn't be.

Of course you should be, Mister Bond. It is only natural to appreciate such hard work!

I suppose you've got little more to do than sit around and think on that plan, hm? Even so, I suppose you're not a Major for nothing.

The Fuhrer may have made his mistakes, Mister Bond, but I was not one of them.

[He lets out a barking laugh and claps his hands a few times. The actual impressiveness of all the plans sails right over his head, of course, but it's a lot of words and the Major wrote it so.]

Even when you're in fuckin' prison they can't stop ya. But hey, working with the jackasses? I think I can manage it, show 'em how it's done. Where do you want me, Major?

Warrant Officer Schrodinger will brief you on our area of operations, Herr Valentine. You shall coordinate with the Captain. In the event of invasion, you are directed to raise an undead legion out of the corpses of our enemies!

Yessir! I can probably whip up a shitload of ghouls in no time at all when it happens, maybe ten minutes. I'm on pins and needles here.

Don't get too wound-up, now. This is all most likely still in the future. Unless our enemy has developed large-scale teleportation capabilities, they are still on the other side of the continent from us.

[she kind of just....yeah. She's just kind of staring at the Major with this look of shock and awe and wow.]

That's...

[She just might not call you horrible nazi scum or something like that if this works...just more along the lines of nazi scum.]
