[Someone is sounding rather sullen today.]

Humans are inherently stupid.

Discuss.

Alternatively:

Argue with me on a subject of your choice.

Don't let me down, heroes.

[Encrypted to Desire]

Desire. A word in your ear if I may.

I don't think anyone'll disagree that humans are cognitive misers for the most part, mister. They'll try to get away with thinking about something as little as they can. Whether or not that's stupidity or something else, I don't fully know.

But no matter how much one thinks on a subject, it can still be entirely too stupid in the first place.

Well that's really more a matter of the subject matter than the actual intelligence of the person. A subject can be inherently stupid to discuss, but smart people can still discuss stupid things and remain intelligent.

The most intelligent being alive can still make numerous stupid decisions.

I won't deny that. But the fact of the matter is that even if someone makes numerous stupid decisions, you can't inherently call them stupid entirely. I think everyone is stupid in their own ways, and intelligent in their own ways. I'd say humans are generally more along the lines of mediocre intelligence, than out and out stupid.

Intelligence is relative anyway.

That I can fully agree on, mister.

There any specific way you define intelligence?

I don't think I do define it. Never really had to think about it.

Why're you thinking about it so much right now then?

Oh. Pokey Minch, by the way. And you're Mr...?

Boredom, I suppose.

It's Bond. James Bond.

Hey, good a reason to think as any. Maybe one of the best. Though boredom naturally starts making you consider crap.

Nice to meet you, Mr. Bond.

Boredom isn't something I enjoy. Suppose no one does.

And yes, likewise.

Not really. If anything, it's when your mind is the most likely to wander. I dunno, what do you usually do to avoid boredom?

Anything. How about you, kid?

Close to the same. Anything I can really get my hands on, though working on technological crap and reading are the main things I do.

What sort of technological crap?
