fourth duel

It's funny... I used to complain to my folks about our game store being old-fashioned, 'cos grandpa would never stock any video games or things that were popular besides a few select stuff like Duel Monsters or garage kits. We wouldn't get a lot of business because of it, and it probably didn't help that there were a ton of hobby stores in a better location than us, too... Mm. [He feels terrible about how he used to complain about his grandpa to his friends.]

Here... I miss the variety our game store had. Everything that a normal store sells are too mainstream!! Even things Geimu Hime and Duel Monsters. I go to a grocery store to pick up some thing, and in the place where they have all the snacks there's usually starter decks for both games... Jeez, Duel Monsters wasn't even that popular back home.

Umm, I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining about all of this, either! Because it's nice that I can go about anywhere for something... Just... yeah.

[A beat.]

Video games changed too. I remember Nintendo just came out with NINTNEDO64, and Sony had the Playstation out for a few years. Now there's the Nintendo Wii and Sony's Playstation 3... You know, I can't even find a place to buy a normal Gameboy anymore? I really like my DS, but it's not... the same.

It's just... weird. Maybe, maybe I wouldn't feel the way I do now if I had grew up with all changes. But I was just... brought here.

Aha, wow. I didn't mean to talk so much...
