43rd Scream

Apr 01, 2010 19:37

[The comm clicks on... and then off again. Then on again, then off again, then on, like someone is compulsively clicking the 'video' button on and off. The number is certainly Starscream's comm.

What little you can see suggests that Starscream is somewhere in the Warehouse district. He starts in an empty lot, then wanders down a back alley, scaring a few mangy cats.

In the snatches of audio, he's singing off-key, half in Cybertronian and half in English.]

py Sparkday to [ ] y to me, ligh[ ]us shine down on this [ ] g.

[a sigh. The comm is left on now. The light is pale grey, but all you can see is concrete.]

Frag. This is a boring one. at least I'm not dying in it. So, when's the other bolt drop, eh?

[sudden armwaving! Which means the camera view goes haywire]

HEY! HEY, GET INTERESTING ALREADY, I DON'T HAVE ALL DAY.

No one asked you! And of course I'm being illogical, Ztarzcream iz floating in zpace, nothing logical about thiz. Ztarzcream can be az illogical az he damn well pleasez!

You know what else, he can stop talking in the third person to himself. And buzzing. I said shut up about this being illogical! Primus.

[and he starts compulsively clicking the comm on and off again as he starts walking. And there's the terrible singing again.]

Happy fragging Sparkd[ ]e... [pause] Is it my Sparkday? It has to be my Sparkday. Happy fragging Sparkday to me.

[/leans against the wall]

I have to still be dreaming.
