I'm not a big fan of winter. It's too cold, too gray, and hell, try as you might you just can't wear cute clothes. I mean, I've gotten used to the cold after running around the streets of the Big Apple in that little number of mine for years...but still, I always wondered if I should have picked something more practical.
Everyone else wore something covering their legs except me 'n Hollis...
[there's a pause and a clink of a glass. christ this woman always has alcohol in her hand, i swear...]
...I've been thinkin' about home an awful lot. Especially this month for some reason. The nights are longer, and it gives you more time to think, y'know?
Maybe I should go on a vacation...it's a damn shame California's a piece of shit...
[she trails off, but then her voice brightens up a bit.]
Oh, and congrats to Dazzler and her crew for puttin' on a great fundraiser. It's been awhile since I've had fun like that, and it's nice knowing that something good can come outta something rotten. Glad to have paid my part.
