Hey, I gotta question: what's the deal with petty crime around here? Is only murder illegal in this place or some shit? Seems like the smaller things get overlooked or people just don't give a shit. Maybe the cops look the other way. Dunno. Not complaining, of course. More like curious, seems like this place has a lot of robberies go down.

First of all: it was a general thing. Like I seen people around pretty much say they was thieves or whatever, I don't mean like getting caught in the act.

Uh huh. Not what it sounds like to me. I'm not complaining and I'm not bitching, people said themselves they get treated better 'cause they're friends with the cops. Some people don't have to say it, because it's obvious. That isn't exactly new.

Why this of all my posts is getting attention seems almost ironic. Good to know I can use it like a suggestion box in the future.

Insofar as the thieves go, I would say it's uncharacteristically considerate of law enforcement to turn a blind eye.
