Not hurt? Sharon, you've just put a call out for an X-ray machine. Last I checked, they made for a pretty lousy replacement for a sidearm. You know how it works. I don't know the sitrep, I can't help you.

A few blocks. I couldn't get it to tell me anything useful, and I didn't want to wait around in case more people were going to show up there. It's starting to sound like that was the right choice.

Far as I can tell. Was on my way up from Dogtown, through the CIC one minute. Then, bam. Meet and greet from a machine, the next.

[ Noise, and then the picture steadies -- sideways -- as Helo tosses the comm onto the dash and starts the car. ]
