Perhaps hope is not always as powerful as other things -- willpower, or rage. But it can be healing, helpful. Comforting.

Hope is what inspires us to move forward.

Foolish. I can hope I go home soon. I can hope I regain my proper shell soon. I can even hope that the memories I have lost return. But you know what hoping isn't going to get me anything.

It's a waste of time and energy to just hope.

To just hope is nothing, but hope helps initiate things into motion. One cannot stand idly by and simply hope, this is true.

Action is equally important.

I'm beginning to believe my lost memories are well, lost.

There is nothing we can do to go home. The 'porter has complete control over that.

And my original shell...I doubt there is anything I can do while I'm stuck like this to return to it.
