Hello, again. This is Skydive. I'd like to say thank you for the help before. I'm also sorry for any bother, especially so soon, but I have a question.

Is there any food that can be recommended that it doesn't usually hurt to eat?

"Chinese food" is disgusting not very preferable. Neither are apples, though I can't tell if that was because of ( Read more... )

I am still struggling to figure this out myself. It seems like Bakura will set you straight, though I have found that these little bagged baked items called 'chips' are fairly tolerable if you're in dire need of a meal.

Bakura has been very helpful. And you too, now. Thank you.

Were you originally not human either, then?

[She switches to video and smiles politely, flexing her ears a bit so that he can see them.]

I am a Blood Elf. [Liadrin chuckles to herself.] A few years ago I would have been insulted to be mistaken for a human in any way.

[He keeps texting, but there's a long pause before his response, and his curiosity gets the better of him.]

I meant no offense, of course.

Would you be bothered if I asked you what a Blood Elf was?

No, of course not.
To go into the details of our history is a bit much. Our ancestors were wild elves, Kal'dorei, creatures of nature. Then, after many years and calamities caused by their own foolishness, the Kal'dorei broke apart into separate groups; one of them known as the Quel'dorei, or High Elves.

I was a High Elf for most of my life, but things always change when we least expect it. Our homelands were destroyed by a human prince turned monster, the Lich King. In the process we were nearly wiped from existence, but under the leadership of our Prince Kael'thas we rebuilt our city and called ourselves Blood Elves to mourn the loss of our fallen.

Does this help you at all?

Ah, yes, it does. Thank you for telling me.

I could understand why you wouldn't want to be associated with humans, though it sounds like things have taken a turn for the better for your race?

It was no trouble at all.
Things are better now. It's been quite an ordeal, but I have left my Knights in the care of a trusted friend, our addiction to magic has been healed and we are rebuilding out population free of the threats that plagued us before.

I trust that in my absence Silvermoon will endure.

That said; what are you, if not human?

I'm Cybertronian. And I'm glad you believe your city will be all right. It's good to have certainty.

Cyber...tronian?
Well, I don't know for certain if Silvermoon will be secure, I just have to believe that it will. To act without faith leads to nothing but failure. What of your home?

That's a good belief to have, then. Faith is always good.

Sorry, I didn't explain myself. I'm apart of a race of large robotic creatures from the planet Cybertron. We can transform into different mechanical vehicles, whatever is native to the planet we're currently on at the time. We're built, in a way, to hide. I transform into a jet...do you have jets in your world? They're large, metal fliers that can reach speeds breaking the sound barrier.

And Cybertron...is on a completely different planet than the one I'm stationed on currently. It's not dead, not yet, but it's empty, and was abandoned when the war drained it of resources several million years ago. Not much can change it anymore, I suppose, though Earth, the planet I'm currently on, is now ground zero for our civil war. It will likely be doing as it's always done without me. I'm not that important; there are four others who can take my place.

Jets? Hmm...I suppose we do. Our engineers can make these flying machines to escort people around quickly, but most of the time we still use animals such as dragons, hippogryphs, wyverns and the like. [Chortling to herself, she wonders just what the dwarven engineers would do if one of their machines transformed into a living creature.]

Four others?
What caused this civil war, a lack of resources...?

[Text] Whoot! That's probably a really good thing ^^; old_skies December 2 2009, 00:59:19 UTC
That sounds like a fascinating world. I'd like to learn more about it at some point...I think some of those animals you mentioned are strictly fantasy in my world.

Anyway, the civil war. I heard it was caused because one side, the Decepticons, disagreed with the way the Autobots were running things. They wanted a new kind of government, and it eventually became a war. The lack of resources only helped to fuel the desperation in both sides and spread the war from Cybertron across space and onto Earth. I hadn't been created then, though, so my knowledge is only second-hand and currently incomplete.

And, yes, four others. My teammates and I. We're the Aerialbots, all of us jets created for aerial battles. They should be okay without me. [He hopes they are, at least. He doesn't like to think about it.]

I would be happy to discuss it at any time. It's a shame that I am unable to share some of the scrolls and texts that we keep on the matter in Silvermoon's vast libraries, somehow I think you would love it.

Somehow I feel that all your teammates will suffer is sadness at your absence. Don't worry, they'll be fine.
