[Skyfire beams down at the camera. He's in a lab coat, and behind him is a fairly bright lamp.]
It's happening! Oh golly this is exciting!
Ahem. But let me explain- [He directs the camera to show a small clutch of eggs, nested in blankets and heat pads. They appear to be... hatching!]
The other week, I witnessed a cat hunt and kill one of the ducks by the pond in the park. Fascinating, the life-cycle- and observing a predator in it's natural habitat was spectacular. However I discovered that she had left behind a nest of eggs. Four to be exact.
I thought this would be a wonderful opportunity to observe the birth and natural maturing of these animals, so I rescued these, and it appears they are finally hatching themselves.
Oh look! I can see it- [The camera wobbles to show a small beak break away a bit of shell, and finally, the head of a tiny duckling appears!]
Oh gosh!
I'm. Ahehehe... it appears I am a mother!
