But I was not wrong-- you simply take my language too literally. Lead is refined from ore in the ground, it is all earth, alchemically speaking, but you cannot distinguish my disdain for guns from my imagined ignorance. I believe sometimes they are referred to as "pea shooters" in the vernacular, yet bullets are not made of peas.

I would perhaps be more generous to your point if your little "lesson" was aimed somehow at my betterment, yet there is nothing I would have to gain from such knowledge, had I not possessed it in the first place. For, being shot, the bullet would surely sting even if I believed it fashioned from goose down.
