You know, something occurred to me the other day, whilst I was out looking for a new job. The 'native-born civilians,' you know, the ones we're supposed to be saving from lunatics, muggers and murderers?
They're driving the economy here, not us.
And they're really the ones who we rely on to make certain that we actually have paying jobs. And food supplies. And fuel supplies. And a well-maintained and functioning aqueduct system. And roads. And...really, it's astonishing how very, very much we depend on them.
Funny, isn't it, how so very few of them seem to be returning to this place after Godzilla demolished a forty-block radius?
Anybody tracking the prices of food, recently? Just asking.
In other news, I'm looking for a job again. If you're a deranged lunatic, please don't bother replying, I've had enough deranged lunatics to last me for one lifetime, thank you.
