Not to be negative, but this city is a fucking helltrap. Invite the unwilling into town and then tell them to fight crime, fuck that. I'm not a particularly dangerous person. I've done my share of strange things and certainly I can handle my drugs and alcohol better than half of you, but other than that and my skill with a typewriter I'm not good

Not so sure about that booze claim of yours, but seems to me there ain't no one in charge of this damn place.

Yeah. I get confused. Used to get pills for it from my parole officer's girlfriend.

Word is there was someone in charge, but he's long gone now. All that's left is the machine that keeps bringin' people in.

Machines had off switches, and if it's anything like a vacuum, it might have 'reverse'.

Makes sense. Gotta wonder why any of these heroes haven't tried it yet. Nah... That's not it, no with all these egg heads runnin' round. There's gotta be somethin' more to it...

I still doubt anyone's taken a look. Maybe it's just hard to access. Who knows?
