Long entry for posterity's sake
I have been busy! busy and exciting and busy. I just got back from a run with greg and i am exhasuted! he always made it seem like he was pretty slow, but man he just starts off so fast that you loose all of your energy in the first mile! Oh well, it was cool running with someone faster than myself because it was challenging! I really had to use some mind over body mentality to keep going. I've been trying to run a lot, and even signed up for a 5k race - the MSU Dino Dash. Just for some motivation, though i've been kind of lax about it. Also, on the physical work out side of things, I've been trying to do judo a lot. Averaging once a week, but that's ok. When i have the time and energy i'm going to try and do twice a week consistantly, three times when i can/ want to. So i'm keeping in shape. Other health reports, i should be taking more vitamins because i've been forgetting.
I've been doing a lot of partying, drinking, smoking. Oh man i think im done smoking for quite a while now. That made the run so much worse today. Anyways its been fun. A lot of fun. Meeting new people and dancing and drinking. Its funny, some of the people i meet are really interesting, some are obviously just party kids or burn outs or losers, but some are really interesting. Its fun to hang out with either and talk and learn and compare. I want to be good for a while though. Well....... at least until the underwear party. heh. so yeah.
I finally did some music performing! me and mike have been "busking," him on guitar, me on harmonica. We both sing and eventually switch intruments, but its a pretty good formula this way. For some reason i'm pretty good at harmonica. Its odd, it comes naturally to me and i feel like anyone could do it, but they say i'm special so i must be. Its great when we find people who will sing or dance with us. That's what makes it really awesome! That, and sometimes we get money, though of course art before money. heh.
Love life has been interesting. I'm still single, but still in love with that one marvelous but crazy girl. Things will work out sooner or later. maybe. We'll see. So it goes.
Apartment life is really great! I like having my own room so i can blast music and do whatever i want or just hang around, and i like the way i've done it up, even if its a bit clinical and drab. I think some curtains could definatly add some color. And i swung my bed into the middle of the room just to disrupt how orderly it is. That and its pretty messy right now. Kinda feels more homey, although i should clean it anyways. I've got a really nice book shelf that pulls it together. well its actually pretty cheap, but it's got my record player on top and my amp on the bottom shelf. My books on the shelves. I love my books! ^__^ I spend a lot of time looking at my facebook bookshelf which is just sad. Anyways, its a nice room. Its got comic books all over the wall.
Comic books are amazing
Classes are ok. I don't have any friday classes and only one on thursday. My history professor is a little off the wall which is good in some ways, but she's hard to follow a lot. The TA for that class seems really cool. My Constitutional law class is hard but very rewarding and interesting. ISB classes are bullshit easy but whatever. I just hope i 4.0 them.
Well i guess that's it for now. I'm going to go eat something quick and then maybe finish working on this little research paper of mine.
