This is me right after returning home from an exam, or test, or whatever it might be called these days. It went moderately well despite the fact that I hadn't been practicing for several weeks ahead. Nevertheless an exam is often filled with the fear of being the first to get up and get out. If you happen to be the first to return the papers then something is terribly wrong. Either some are just sitting and trying to figure something out that you had the grip of or either they are entirely doing it for show. I am sure I would do it too... Sit there and pretend that I am not yet finished, that I am working on the answer of the unviverse with my single badly sharpened pen. At that case you can't even look the teacher in the eyes, either because your teacher might not have any or because you know that your teacher will ask: "Did it work out well". Just by then you're only glad that there are a couple of few more tests left which you have plenty of time to prepare for. In any case it is a fifty-fifty chance that the scenario above will repeat again. Oe boi.
However, lately I've been quite a lot that's being sung about in this song by Sparks.

But starting this weekend I might as well try and put more effort into things. Especially since I am both feeling better and don't have to think about an urging test/exam. So, this weekend invites me with both getting new glasses, since my sight is feeling a bit unreliable at the moment. Then I shall bake some bread, make some food, try and get Science Sheep Studios going again. I am sorry for the music production being at a halt but my last album saw me halting in the middle of the process because of various reasons, then I felt that the album I had planned to do next was going to be a flop, then my computer crashed, then I got a new one which didn't like me at the occasions I happened to try and make some music. This weekend I am not giving up though. Or else I might see my dear Science Sheep Studios become some sort of TV/movie room just because of the reason that I am not making any music. Gosh, I dunno if there even is any room in my sleeping room for computer, crap, music ecquipments, crap, crap and ideas. A badly isolated door pointing towards the living room combined with hearing impared parents is not a good climate for good relations nor making music. There would probably be lots of screaming in case it would be the scenario, I am sure of it. Then again the TV/movie room wouldn't be used as much as this room is being used now. BAH, I say, BAAAAAAAH.
However, something funnier to announce is that a zine, which I have contributed too, will be released the 28th up in Stockholm along with three others. It is called
Vänskap and along with the written materials I have contributed with some music for a tape which includes a vast array of nice artists. You can see the links at that homepage which artists, except for me, are contributing. This means, of course, that I shall attend the "releaseparty", join up with my editor of that zine, Niklas, and mingle with the rest of the crowd. It is all going on during a special event regarding the future of Sweden's music scene. The event itself will involve talking and some music of course. Hopefully it will be well worth it.
Oh, by the way, anyone here that reads the books by D Harlan Wilson? Here he is talking about his latest book
Blankety Blank: A Memoir on vulgaria.
