I've been reading a lot of ANGTWOEDOOOOM fics lately and I'll admit, this is VERY different from those. It's not quite flip, just...rough and gritty and kind of painful, but more in a 'punching things' and less in a 'teeny violin' sort of way, if that makes any sense. I loved your portrayal of Jess, because we don't know much about her but people tend to portray her as quite a bit sweeter than you have her here. Very, very interesting, well-written fic--thanks for sharing with us!
