Aaargh!
I just spent an hour filling in my interests, in an ongoing effort to actually make this a fully functional journal. Well, because I made an error in the location field, LJ ate the whole damn thing. An hour's worth of work down the drain. Ah, well, now it will have to wait. Bed beckons. Next time I will remember to copy the whole darn thing to a notepad before pressing the update button.
In other news, it's raining here. This follows a several-day warm spell, of which we've had a number this winter. I enjoy the sound of the rain, it's peaceful, and yet it serves to remind me that over the years we've been having less and less of the kind of winters (read lots of cold and snow) that used to be characteristic here in the Upper Great Lakes region. It's disturbing.
