Ah, a pleasantly filled day.
Went to that one mall with Jen and her parents. Got my dose of christmas spirit all in one big, syrupy, luminous, red-smothered marketing dunk. Ctrl-alt-del (a webcomic i read) accurately puts it: Video games dont kill people; 24/7 christmas carols do. Classic scandanavian renditions of carols i can take... its was the political-correctness required folk-modern native american interpretive group that most crippled the atmosphere. "Chestnuts Roasting" on a recorder, anyone?
The fact that it was a mall did not help, of course. 51 stores of all types (that is to say mostly clothes) and i found a grand total of 5 that i had any interest in going to... and thats counting both the book stores.
I paint it to be a bad experience, but it wasnt; got retaliatory presents for Jenny (dontcha hate hearing 'I got your present' from someone you hadnt planned on trading gifts with? Then again, I usually dont plan on trading with anyone at all) and had a jainormous italian dinner. Then went back to the apartment and watched the second half of last exile (an excellent anime, to those unaware).

Took the math final on thursday, so im all done with that idiocy. Just japanese on monday, a mere lesson test, and I'm done for the semester. Ah... blessed free time.
