Sunday Shopping and Swimming
After being busy Saturday morning preparing stuff for a picnic party we took it easy late afternoon and Saturday evening. We took care of a few shopping chores on Hawk's list and then relaxed at home.
Sunday was more of the same- shopping and relaxing, that is. I ate a leisurely lunch and then ran a few shopping errands of my own. Said errands included a small wine tasting at the wine shop. 😋
After that I came home and we went out to the pool together. The weather has continued hot, so the pool felt good. Though by mid to late afternoon the heat of the day was starting to break. Optimal would've been to get out there an hour earlier. Maybe next time. 😏
Around 5 we changed back into our clothes and went back out on another shopping errand, this time to a clothing store. I was surprised to find suit jackets in my size. And they were on a convincing sale. So when it came time to choose between black and blue jackets that both fit well, Hawk and I agreed, buy them both. 😂
