Now, I'm biased. I'm one of the very few people that actually liked Tori Amos' last album, The Beekeeper (see icon). But even I'll admit that Tori's stuff has been slowing down, and becoming more mellow and meditative, rather than the angry, thought provoking songs I originally fell in love with.
Having said all that, her new album, American Doll Posse, sounds like it is going to be awesome! I wasn't that excited--and then I read a
review of the albumn and a new
article on Tori and the album. Now I can't wait to hear how all of that turned out.
Anyone heard it yet?
Aircon on my floor is busted again--it was broken last week, they thought they fixed it and now it is 82 degrees in my office again. And it is warm enough outside that whatever triggers my allergies in the spring (some combo of grasses and trees, I think) has kicked in.
Still, it is wonderful that it is really spring at last. The trees all over the city, and especially in Hyde Park, are beautiful.
