I have incredible friends.
My life is as good as it is only because of the wonderful people who have befriended me. I don't know what I would do without them. I don't know what I have done to deserve them.
I'm sappy I know, but it's true. I have the best people in my life a girl could ask for.
I'm not even drunk, in case you were wondering. Just humbled by the turnout for my show tonight. toscem changed work commitments, deannaz rushed over despite her horrible-crazy week, bdbdb insisted on buying a ticket even though her job kept her from going. And Alice not only came out but is about to save me from a very horrible situation (more on that some other time). Elda's got doggie commitments but she came anyway and Diane is only in town for a short time but decided to see me - even though both of them wanted to see Billy Idol across the street. LOL.
And the show is only a part of my gratitude - just a catalyst for speaking out. All these people (and many more I haven't mentioned but appreciate as well) go out of their way to help me and support me and my goal to become a funny little american. :-) I just..... I am so grateful. I don't know if I say it nearly enough. But I think it all the time.
