I did it!
I did my first 10k today. My first and probably my last because IT'S FUCKING HARD.
I have been to the gym twice since January so I was so not in shape. But I did it in a respectable time. My friends who have been training for months only finished 5 minutes before me so I feel good about my time.
Today is also the 1 year anniversary of Tugger's death. And it was kind of cool that it fell on the Sun Run because the course took my by all the places I used to go with Tug. The park he used to poop at when I took him to work. The building we lived in for a few years when I first got him. The part of the seawall we always walked on. It was nice to run by (red-face, gasping for breath and struggling to stay conscious) and think of him.
I miss you Tugger Frost Pattison. You were a damn good dog.
