A job... but am I enthused?
Well, after two and a half months of not working, I've accepted a three-month contract offer with Allstream. I'm not completely sure what they'll have me doing, but I really don't think they know either. All I know for sure is that there isn't much that I'll be able to start and finish in three months, so I'd imagine the contract will be extended. I'll just have to decide if I want to extend it or not.
I was able to finagle the agency into leaving me as a Sole Proprietor for now. Apparently there's this push in the IT consulting industry to force workers into incorporating. I'm pretty adamant that it's pointless to incorporate for a three-month stint, so had they not allowed me to be stick as a Sole, I would have turned down the opportunity. At least I'll be able to write things off... such as a new laptop if I end up getting one.
Nothing else really to talk about now. I'm tired.
