[ OOC: So I just watched "Countrycide" tonight so it was fresh in my head. ]
Once upon a time there was a girl. A girl who dreamed of doing something more with her life. She’d sit by the bay and watch as others walked along, she liked watching people and seeing how they got a long. Whenever someone would fall or hurt themselves she’d spring up to action. The dark eyed girl would help the person because that’s what she wanted to do, she wanted to help people. She cared about everyone she met and wished no harm upon anymore, for who could do such harmful things, certainly not other humans.
As the little girl got older she started to realize that people weren’t as nice as she once thought. There were so many dark and hidden secrets that everyone hid, secrets that the little girl never wanted to know. She started to see the harm that people could do and as the little girl grew to a strong women she wanted to help others.
The little girl that once cared so much about others now was grown and joined the police. She became a police constable and witnessed the horror of other humans first hand. She serve the coffee to the officers as they went over the cases, victims and suspects. She wished she could jump in and help more but she knew soon she’d have to take a desk job and settle down with her boyfriend.
The dark haired beauty that was once the little often wished she could do more, that she could actually solve a crime or save another rather then breaking up a pub fight. Then one day something happened, something she never expected. She saw a man, a man with a team that did something from out of a movie. She followed that man, intrigued by what she saw. It seemed impossible to follow him but she was too stubborn to give up.
The stubborn woman found that man and her life was forever changed. He offered her what she was looking for; a chance to truly help others but that chance came at a price. For the little girl who cared so much truly saw just what it was a human could do. She was now fighting aliens and saving the whole world but when it came down to a town of people in countrycide she saw the true horror of humans. She couldn’t understand how people could do such a thing and she found herself searching for the answers but getting lost in the quest. “Because it makes me happy.” Words that lingered in her thoughts as the woman who once thought that other humans couldn’t do such harmful things. For that little girl that used to sit by the bay watching others just found out how wrong she was so many years ago.
