I just got it! Thanks, Sawako! [She now feels bad that she focused on Fang's chocolate the most. But to be fair you probably don't want chocolate with hot sauce/salt in it, Sawako]
It's delicious! If you're in Goldenrod sometime we should get together and cook together. Don't worry about the customers, they don't know what's good for 'em!
[Sawako hadn't actually been expecting any, anyway. She's used to not getting chocolate.]
I'm glad you like them! If you wouldn't mind, I'd be really happy if we could cook together when I make it to Goldenrod.
I wonder what I'm doing wrong though. I'm trying my best to smile naturally at the customers, but it just doesn't seem to turn out right. [These are the natural effects of Sawako trying to force a smile.]

I'll look forward to it!
I'll try it then! [What makes Sawako happy? Her friends of course! And Kazehaya-kun too. Oh, and her parents. Unfortunately, the more she tries to force herself to smile, the creepier her smile gets.]
Sure! Girls who smile are always cute! [It's a liiiittle bit scary but compared to monsters back on Gran Pulse Sawako's smile is nothing.]
Then I guess people will just have to get used to how you smile, huh? If they can't then...they're just mean. [She gives a frown at that. Sure, it's a strange smile but everyone had their differences. And Sawako is her friend, no one makes fun of her friends!]
[She nods] But...what do ya mean? What's not to like? They just don't know what they're missing.[She says it determinedly. She likes Sawako so she can't see why anyone else wouldn't.]
Somehow, back home, people started to believe that I could see ghosts, and eventually rumors started that I could curse people as well, so people didn't want to come near me. But I really can't do anything as amazing as seeing ghosts though, and I can't curse people either. Oh, but I suppose people here wouldn't know about those rumors, so it might be because of my smile after all.
I've met wonderful friends here though, and I've managed to make friends back home as well, so I really can't complain too much.
You can't? I think it would be a nice thing to see ghosts...Then if you felt lonely you could talk to them! [Also later she and Fang can learn the move "curse" so...she won't say anything about that.] But that was mean of them! I'll beat 'em up for ya.
[She grins] It is friendly here...It's nice not to worry about rumours and things, huh?
It would be wonderful if I could live up to everyone's expectations by learning to see ghosts. [She would feel terrible if she knew that Vanille could learn "curse." She really didn't mean to be rude.]
B-b-beat up? I...I really appreciate the offer, but I don't think...
Mm...But if you don't really want to then...It's better not to. It wouldn't be fun if you didn't want to do it. [Well she doesn't know now so no harm no foul]
I'm tougher than you think! [Vanille I don't think that's the issue here]
Oh, it's not that I don't want to! If it would make people happy, than I wouldn't mind at all! Ghosts are a bit scary, but I'm sure I could manage.
Yes, I'm sure you're really strong! It's just that I think I may be able to make them understand by speaking with them. And you could get in trouble for beating them up, and it would be awful if something happened to you because of me!
I think it would make people happy...kind of! [She wouldn't mind seeing her parents again. She's over the whole them dying thing but still.]
You're right! I probably wouldn't be able to beat them up all by myself anyway. [Fang's the one who takes people out back for "chats" after all] I guess if I see them I'll just have to tell them off!
I suppose it doesn't matter either way, since I really can't see them, despite what everyone thinks. Since it might make people happy though, I do wish I could see them.
I appreciate it! But I think I'll try talking with them a bit more first. If I do my best, they'll definitely understand...I think. Before I arrived here, I was even beginning to make friends, which had never happened before.

[Poor Sawako. :'D Vanille nods.] Hmm...Well, maybe if you think of something that makes you happy before you smile then your happiness will show?

[ooc: I have a friend who actually has the same problem Sawako does. :'D No matter what he does his smile looks creepy/awkward]

I've tried that before, but I'm afraid that it doesn't seem to have done much. Maybe I just haven't been trying enough though.

I'm not sure it just because of my smile that people run away though, but I'll try my best to make friends with everyone.
