thanks for the nudge, i nodded off there for a little bit.

so where was i on the matters of life, love, and the pursuit of mediocraty when i left off? hard to say really, and its been so long i think i'll just update in bullet form for now.

-i went on my last field op as a forward observer...

-i've been moved up to regiment because i dont have enough time to make the deployment.

-i made the decision to cycle through a different religion every month to get a better understanding of all of them. it'll be an interesting project, and later, once i hit a whole shit load of them, i plan on putting my findings up here somwhere on the good ol' internet somwhere for

-i went to an anime convention, which totally rocked, and made the decision that even if i decide to leave cali when i get out (which looks very likly) i'll come back every 4th of july for anime expo, especially concidering that a friend of mine who made 25thou after getting all burnt up by some pyro in iraq, has offered to pay for our comunal hotel room for the next 2 years at least.

-sarah came down to vissit me for a week, and it was the greatest time of my life.

-i went on my first field op as a member of the regimental FSCC (fire support coordination center) and hated every minute of it.

-i went home for a 4 day weekend to see sarah, and it became the second greatest time of my life.

-i went to fiend fest and saw Orange, Juice Head, UK Subs, The Adicts, The Misfits, and a bonus set played by a new band called Osaka Popstar and the American Legends of Punk, which is a litle project band that Jerry from the misifits put together while touring in japan that features himself on base, Dez from blackflag on guitar, Marky Ramone on drums, a black guy, and some obscure japanese popstar who is huge in japan but a nobody here. quite a star studded little gimmik, but they still sucked cause taht japanese guy is a terrible singer. all the other bands were spectacular, although the addicts definatly win the Best Set award for their amazing showmanship on stage. crazy brits. i got a lota pictures on a disposable taht i'lls can up and post later.

-i woke up in a half dreaming, half bruised, very thirsty state from the concert last night, checked my mail, and got a nudge from justin which reminded me i have a LJ account.

more to come in a future post.

oh ya, one more, i started up a D&D group, and its going awesome. we play every sunday.

and also, congrats on getting your internet back, justin!!
