Disgustingly partisan. "The do-nothing senate." (I missed the guy's name she was referring.) -- Possibly Harry Reed, the Dem majority leader in the Senate? He released a statement right afterwards calling the speech "shrill," and CNN's female talking heads had a FIELD DAY with that, saying you never hear that word associated with men. My response? "I do, and it was." CNN's Paul Begala's response? (a.) Apparently Reed and McCain DESPISE each other so Reed wasn't about to sugarcoat things, and (b.) maybe we shouldn't be bullied into saying politcally correct things so often. And a funny thing about the do-nothing Senate: In addition to 8 years in the White House the R's have controlled the Supreme Court for 7 of the last 8 years, I think the House for 6, and the Senate for 5, and now they want to come in and be the party of reform "as if some alien force" (Begala's words) had made things the way they are.
John McCain looks a bit funny. I dunno. Stiff perhaps? -- Can't raise his arms above his head, a result of his torture as a POW. DIDN'T YOU KNOW HE WAS A POW ARRRRGHHGH?!?!? THE R'S SAID IT OVER AND OVER ARGRHGRH!!! OBVIOUSLY HE'S THE BEST FOR PRESIDENT A++++++!!!!
