My Ode to Dr. C.
My professor is totally and most uberly cool.
I took the Communications I course because this particular professor is teaching it. I've had him for 5 other classes before this. He's one of the best professors I've encountered during my undergrad career. I love his teaching style. The way he goes as far back needed and builds up in the case someone doesn't understand. He's very prompt in responses to questions. He's extremely accessible. He gives these review sessions before the exams on weekends and goes over everything needed. And he even brings coffee and donuts to the review sessions! If you put in the effort, he gives a very fair grade. And he gives great advice on everything... from career, life, relationships, and why the Senior Design is poorly designed. There was a help session today, and afterwards we stood for about 20 minutes and we just chatted. He gave me very good advice today regarding career moves. And he reassured me that as long as I do decently well on the final, I'll get a B in the class. Considering how little work I did this term... I'm ecstatic!
Yeah... Dr. C is totally rad.
