Room 320: Afternoon

So far this week Mel has:

1. Had one friend put into a coma
2. Had another friend yanked out of Fandom by her overprotective sister
3. Had a strange conversation with Xander where she was told NOT to kill a vampire
4. Had an encounter with said vampire
5. Been harrassed by the local police for capturing said vampire.So studying for finals? Soooo

Having listened to last night's radio, Seely was knocking on Mel's door.

With flowers.

Look he didn't really know appropriate gifts for vampire slayers.

"Door's open," she called out as she continued to fiddle with her phone.

[socksofcool]

Seely stuck his head in the door, ready to pull back quickly if he had to. "It's me. Hey."

Mel looked up and then back at her phone. If it really was Angelus he wouldn't have made it that far into her room.

"Hey. How's it feel to have a psycho wear the same face as you?"

[sarcasm_guy]

After work, Sokka dropped by Mel's room and peered in.

"Hey," he said. "I, uh... Okay, I'm always the last person to find things out, and I keep forgetting to listen to radio, so I just wanted to make sure... Uh. This whole 'vampire' thing -- you're on it, right? You've heard about it, you're taking care of it, that sort of thing?"

"He's locked up," Mel smirked. "I caught him last night. Feel free to sleep in the streets tonight if you want."

[sarcasm_guy]

"Oh! Well, awesome! Okay. My next question was going to be, 'do you need backup', but I guess that's a no."

And then he gave her a good, long stare. "And -- I know you've had trouble with this in the past, so I just wanted to make sure you knew: Vampires are evil. That means it would be a bad idea to date them."

"You're thinking of another slayer," Mel snapped back. "And I haven't been dating anyone."

There would a clinched fist forming in front of Mel just in case this conversation when in any particular direction.
